Choose a source
Select individual Markdown files through Apple Files or authenticate Dropbox through its OAuth screen. MD HD never asks for a cloud password.
How it works
The system is intentionally boring: authenticate securely, preserve source identity, render on demand, and never rewrite the cloud file.
Select individual Markdown files through Apple Files or authenticate Dropbox through its OAuth screen. MD HD never asks for a cloud password.
Files selected through Apple Files become private library copies and count toward the imported-document limit. Dropbox metadata is synchronized separately and retains its source path.
Open a document for PDF-like typography, links, lists, tables, code blocks, and images.
Favorite documents and search by title or path. Eligible plans offer app-managed folders for connected Dropbox documents only, not Imported Files.
Super Premium can create a shareable PDF while the original Markdown remains unchanged.
Read-only
Dropbox access is scoped for reading. MD HD does not rename, move, or edit cloud files.
Path-aware
Source paths remain attached to documents and disambiguate duplicate filenames.
Limit-aware
Imported-document and cloud-account limits are enforced at persistence boundaries, not only hidden in the UI.
